Reach New Flood Insurance Customers with the Agency Registry
The Agency Registry offers greater visibility for your business to customers through the National Flood Insurance Program’s (NFIP) Quoting Tool and the Flood Insurance Agencies list. Enroll today to expand your reach.
The NFIP is making it easier for insurance agencies to sell flood insurance policies with its NFIP Quoting Tool and Agency Registry. Through the NFIP Quoting Tool, property owners will receive a customized premium estimate and contact information for three randomly selected agencies from the Agency Registry.

FAQs about the Agency Registry
The NFIP's Agency Registry collects the principal agent’s name, National Producer Number (NPN), email address and phone number. The agency’s name, NPN, physical address, email address, phone number, servicing states and languages spoken.
Your agency's name, email address, phone number and languages spoken will appear on the NFIP's Quoting Tool.
If the agency selects "No" to the "Are you a Regional or National Producer" question, it will also show your agency's physical address.
If your insurance agency writes flood insurance with multiple WYOs and/or NFIP Direct, please select only one. Your insurance agency cannot be associated with more than one WYO/NFIP Direct per location in this Registry, but you are free to write the policy with any WYO you work with.
Please reach out to your WYO/NFIP Direct and ask them about participating in the Agency Registry.
When filling out the form, you are asked whether the agents who work with the NFIP customers are FIRA certified. If you select ‘no’ to the question, then you can still be included in the Agency Registry database, but you will not appear in the NFIP Quoting Tool. Once your agents are certified, you can submit the updated information by selecting “Yes” to the question and your agency will appear in the tool.
To learn more about FIRA certified training please visit the NFIP’s State Training Requirements for Agents.
Your agency will appear in the NFIP's Quoting tool immediately after your approval.
