The Key Fundamentals webinar gives participants the latest updates on the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and helps insurance agents understand how the NFIP works. It also includes a live demonstration of the NFIP Quoting Tool. This webinar meets the training requirements of the Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2004.

We recommend using a desktop or laptop computer to take this webinar. This will ensure you can respond to the required poll questions.

FEMA is not providing continuing education hours for the two webinars but will provide certificates of attendance for those who complete the webinar, including full attendance and participation in the webinar. The production of your certificate is reflective of the information you provide on your registration so please be sure your information is captured accurately. Please work with your state about any state training requirements.

If you have questions regarding this webinar, please direct your questions to FEMA-NFIP-training-help@fema.dhs.gov. FEMA appreciates the continued participation of the agent community in supporting and writing NFIP flood insurance policies.
