Using the NFIP’s Resource Library
If you’ve followed along with the NFIP and all its updates in the past few years, it’s likely you’ve heard about our Resource Library. As an insurance agent needing resources and tools to help sell flood insurance, bookmark this article so you can always and easily find exactly what you’re looking for.
Search
At the very top of the resource library is the search bar. Unlike the sitewide search bar, this will search only for resources and documents housed in the resource library.
- You can narrow the scope of your search based on several factors, such as type of flooding, the region you’re in, the language of the resource you need, or the type of resource you’re looking for.
- Looking for a Spanish-language social media post you can use for hurricane season? Refine your search to find the exact tool your clients need to understand their flood risk.
Featured Toolkits
- Underneath the search bar are the NFIP’s featured toolkits, which are curated groups of content for insurance agents.
- These toolkits can include social media content, links to training webinars, and/or infographics or other visual aids free for your use.
- Our featured toolkits are updated regularly to ensure the latest information is available to you easily throughout the year.
Official NFIP Publications
- All publicly available NFIP publications are in the resource library, where you can easily download a digital copy.
- If you need a specific publication, such as an NFIP Summary of Coverage brochure , you can search for it, or filter the resource types to only include “marketing resources”.
- If you’re prefer physical copies, you can always order NFIP publications for free using the NFIP Publications Order Form
We encourage all agents to use our resource library to continue helping Americans from every state, territories and the District of Columbia protect the lives they’ve built from flooding.
