Mother’s Day: Remember to Not Forget

Consider this your calendar notification and a reminder to pick up the phone and call your mother on Mother’s Day and remember to help your clients help protect theirs! Not only is it the “right thing” to do, but it’s a way to show your appreciation to a loved one in your’s and their life.

Protecting the people you care about the most, like your mother, against the devastating effects of flooding is another way to show that you care. Without flood insurance, you could be left with a significant financial burden, as the cost of repairing or replacing your home and possessions could be prohibitively expensive. Floods can have additional consequences, along with potential expenses, including the disruption of daily life, and safety risks.

To safeguard against flooding during the upcoming spring and summer months, encourage clients to:

  • Prepare and inspect both their and their loved ones' property;
  • Double-check their flood risk level; and
  • Reach out to an agent to learn how to safeguard against flooding.

How can I make a difference?
By ensuring your clients are taking the proper safety steps, you can assist them in speaking through actions and not just words when it comes to showing how much they care about the important people in their life.
